Rainbow Toning
Where can I get the jacket from “Happy Go Lucky”?
In the first few scenes, Poppy (the main character) is drinking with her sister and a few of her friends. Soon some of them head out, one of them is wearing a rainbow-toned sweatshirt with a white background. The rainbows are in star patterns all over the jacket.
I’d love to find it somewhere for sale, but I need to know more about it. If you’ve seen it in a department store or somesuch, let me know!
The character’s name is Suzie, FYI. She wears it for a while, at least halfway through.
My last girlfriend WAS the girl from “Happy Go Lucky”. –Or at least so similar that everybody who saw the film was blown away that somebody had actually made a film about a character so similar to her. She said, “Ugh. It was a boring film about me. It was really weird.” (The real version of ‘Poppy’ is several times cooler and more powerful. She currently works at a cute little cafe which she pretty much runs and half the people who eat there do so because they like talking with her and telling her all their problems.)
Anyway, she does a LOT of her clothes shopping at these discount clothing places. Where all shirts are two dollars and pants are four dollars. –Some of the stuff is used, and some of it comes from discontinued lines. Anyway, she would go once or twice a week and come back with the most outrageous stuff, –and also some of the most fashionably ‘in’ clothes you’d ever see. All of it one-of-a-kind.
So if you want to dress in stuff like Poppy, then I’d recommend finding some clothing store like that and hunting around there regularly and treat yourself like a painter’s canvas.
One of the things she can do is picture what she really wants and then somehow it always just sort of appears in her life. She taught me a lot about focusing Intent and having a lot of fun while doing it.
