Maybe something about the Marines’ general macho attitudes or the Air Force’s comfortable living quarters.
Good-natured but no offensive jokes please. 
Three Generals are arguing on a military flight about which branch has the bravest service members.
The Army General says, “Watch this. Airborne! Front and center!”. A young Airborne soldier appears in front of the General. “Put this parachute on and jump out of this plane!” The soldier salutes and says, “Yes Sir!”, puts on the parachute and jumps out of the plane. The General turns and looks at the other Generals and says, “Gentlemen, that took guts.”
The Marine General says, “That’s nothing. Marine!” A young Marine appears in front of the General. “Marine, I want you to jump out of this plane right now!” The Marine salutes and says “Yes Sir!” and jumps out of the plane to his death. The Marine General turned and looked at the other Generals and said, “Now gentlemen, that took guts.”
The Air Force General says, “That’s nothing. Airman, come here.” A young Airman saunters his way half-heartedly to the General. “Airman, I want you to jump out of this plane.” The Airman looks at the General is disbelief and says “F**k you Sir.” and turns and walks away. The Air Force General turned and looked at the other Generals and said, “Gentlemen, now THAT took guts!”
