Why leave the platen cover open after making a copy?
My boss always leaves the platen cover open when he removes the original after making a copy. It seems natural to me to close it in order to keep the glass clean for higher quality copies. Is there any reason someone would think leaving the cover open is good for the copier?
my only guess is to make sure there are no copies on the glass for the next person
