Mountain Half
Help decoding a dream..?
Last night, i had this dream (color) where me and some of my family climbed a mountain half of which was covered with snow and the other half was lush green. On the way we passed a mighty river. Everything was very beautiful and I remember feeling very happy. Except when we finished climbing, i was excited but a little confused because of half snow and half grass on the mountain top and a clear line differentiating it.
Does this mean something? or is it just another random dream?
Climbing a mountain in your dream, for obvious reasons, denotes the undertaking of a serious life task. Your family’s participation indicates that they are involved in some way; either supporting or climbing along with you. Passing by a mighty river would likely be symbolic of very strong feelings, as water represents emotions. Interestingly you mentioned feeling excitement and positive feelings, which are a match for the gushing river. The lush greenery contrasted with snow shows a thawing, a “warming up” to something.
This would seem to indicate a situation where you or perhaps even others have “warmed up” to something in life but have a way yet to go – there’s a willingness to take on the journey – the mountain – but there is still work to do as half the mountain is snowy and there’s a clear “line” drawn – right at the peak – that you have not crossed. What situation are you working toward? Is your dream showing you it’s okay to warm up completely or does it tell you that you should hold back? Surely the strong river and the strong feelings it indicates give a sense that indeed you do want to reach that mountain top. Hope that helps. Best wishes
