1908-1998 GOLD COMMEMORATIVE CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY IT?
Hello,
I have a gold coin with a silver middle. It says 90th anniversary of the royal canadian mint. It is a double date coin 1908-1998. It has no face value. Person who can give me information or a link gets 10 points! Thanks!
It’s not a coin, it’s a medal. Coins have monetary value, and this one would have Queen Elizabeth on it if it were money. It’s just a promotional item put out by the RCM to celebrate themselves. It’s not gold or silver. It’s gold-colored copper alloy with copper-nickel (silver-colored) middle.
Value is low, a couple of dollars at the absolute most.
