Flowing Hair
Some peopel have really soft free flowing hair?
Ok even when I was young my hair was really soft, before I was putting hair dye in it, using different types of conditioners, perms…… Today, I can not run my fingers through it, though when I was young it was always it great condition. SOMETHING is IN my hair, that makes it sticky, I do not enjoy that, i just want my hair to be free and natural yet still clean feeling. My hair is a 2a/ii type if it helps!! Thanks for answers!!
There isn’t SOMETHING IN your hair, you have just damamged it so much that your hair is no longer soft, but fried. I would suggest a deep conditioning treatment every once in a while for your hair, and maybe a quality shampoo and conditioner specifically for damaged hair. Don’t wash your hair every day, though, that strips your hair of vital oils and nourishment. And, whenever possible, don’t do anything with your hair to let it strengthen up again.
For myself, I don’t straighten the underlayers of my hair near the scalp to give it some time to strengthen. I straighten the bottom near my neck and shoulders, the tips and the top layer of hair, and any other little curly places, but I find that helps. If you straighten, I would suggest that too. Also, if you blow dry/straighten etc use a good heat protectant so your hair wont fry. (I would not reccomend Beyond the Zone Turn Up The Heat spray, its very tricky to get a good amount and too much makes hair oily and greasy)
