First Spouse
What should be the role of the First Spouse in our government? ?
Should we now expect to elect a couple to the Presidency, especially if the spouse brings his or her own unique skills to the job? In ten years, will we see the first husband and wife team run for the top job (President and Vice President)? Should that be much of a problem since the Vice President tends to serve in a similarly undefined role?
It’s called conflict of interest, there will not be a Pres/VP husband and wife.
Michelle Obama is not a Hilary Clinton, or a Lady Bird Johnson. Michelle Obama should not be involved in decisions of Government Policy, because she has no knowledge or experience in that field.
She needs to address various humanitarian issues, making public appearances and speeking on subjects that affect the American people.
