Spending every dime I have in exchange for dogs health?
My dog has to have surgery for mammory cancer. I am only 22 years old live completely on my own and have no help from my parents. I am already really tight on my finances and just got hit with this. I dont have a lot of money to do fun things and buy stuff for myself…now i am going to be spending every last dime extra I have on my dogs health and recovery…. I am afraid my boyfriend is going to think I am pathetic, I am never going to be able to go out and do things with my friends. I am scared, I just want to be reassured I am doing the right thing… Some people think I am stupid for spending all what I have for my dog but I love her and I am her care taker and she relies on me to take care of her when in need, and that is what I am going to do.
If I was your boyfriend, yes, I would break up with you. Spending all your money on a dog that will only develop the issue again in 6 months is ridiculous.
