anyways, would that work to make a penny into a ring?
I want to make some pennies into a pair of earrings! it sounds so cute.
also since im guessing pennies arent too strong, do i need to use steel for underneath, or what should i use?

when you are doing it, you have to have steel underneath the coin to… i dont know but you need to.
It would definitely work, making the ring as the tutorial says, though a few of the tools used aren’t the kind of things you’d normally have at home (ie. the dremel)
Earrings would be fine too, depending on what style you wanted – Hoops (though not too large) would be ideal, make as the ring, drill a small hole and thread a joining ring and earring hooks through them
As for strength, They’d likely be strong enough without reinforcing with steel i would think
