The Minister of Health Darko Milinovic will sign the new rules that would guide maternity centers found outside of hospices and which could lead to the re-opening of a few in Makarska, Sinj, Imotski and Djakovo.
The new rule book will lower minimum technical standards for these pregnancy centres, which would “with a woman’s consent – be able to administer regular births, without foreseeable pathologies.
The Ministry’s inspector is expected to visit the centers in the following ten days in order to determine whether they satisfy the minimum standards. When they satisfy maximum standards, they’re going to be in a position to administer all births, writes tagza.com.
